Casio Partners School Kits To Train Teachers On New Software Solution

Casio has partnered with School Kits to train and educate teachers with new software solution that will aid their capabilities to reduce the failure in Mathematics and Science subjects in Nigerian schools.

Elie Karen, Business Development Manager, Middle East, Casio, revealed that an online resource software that would be used to train school teachers in Nigeria has been developed.

Karen, while speaking recently at a training workshop in Lagos, stated that the software would be used to train about 1,300 teachers within the next three years.

He also made it known that the training is part of the organisation’s effort targeted at developing Math and Science education through capacity development.


According to Karen, the training was developed by Japanese maths teachers along with some local Nigerian maths teacers that are really involved in Nigerian and International curriculum.

He also added by saying that the programme will focus on Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and that public and private schools would be involved. He noted that the training has been implemented across the globe and is now being launched in Nigeria.


In her speech, the Managing Director of School Kits Limited, Temilola Adepetun noted that the initiative is very commendable and will add to the transformation of the Educational Sector in Nigeria.

Adepetun made it known that School Kits was nominated as the Casio Authorised Distributor in Nigeria and is partnering with Casio to bring this educational capacity development programme to Nigeria.
