Toamy Private College, Gowon Estate, Egbeda, Lagos, was established due to the need to widen access to quality secondary education and to ensure a culture of continuous improvement in the education sector.
At the unveiling ceremony, Adunola Kuforiji, Director of the newly established school, stated that the management understood imperative nature of secondary education in an individuals’s life, hence its decision to establish one.
The unveiling ceremony, which was attended by top players in the education sector, government functionaries, religious leaders, partners, friends and family members of the school, stressed the need for Nigerian youths to be well guided.
According to Kuforiji, the school curriculum is built on a hybrid of the Nigerian curriculum and other selected countries of the world which include the British and Chinese curriculum.
The school is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for scientific experiments, performing arts, media, health services, music education, cafeteria, faculty offices, classrooms, restrooms and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) room.
“We invested heavily on all of these to ensure that the quality of secondary education service provided in our school remains unmatched. We are working assiduously to become a global brand, and we must keep at it,” Kuforiji stated.
Represented by CEO of Nurture House Limited, the Principal Consultant of Leading Learning Limited, Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, expressed delight that the private sector is contributing immensely to the education sector and national development.
