The Executive Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on Monday restated his administration’s commitment to support the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to acieve its core mandate.
Gov. Wike made the restatement at the closing ceremony of the 2019 NYSC Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course at the Permanent Site of the scheme at Nonwa-Gbam, Tai Local Government Area of the state.
Wike, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, stated that his administration would always do its best to enhance the welfare of corps members in Rivers state.
He urged the NYSC members serving in the state to be committed toward impacting positively on their host communities.
The State Coordinator of NYSC commended the NYSC camp officials for the synergy, teamwork, commitment, and dedication that made the orientation programme a success.
