Remains of Miss Elozino Ogege, 300-Level student of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, who was murdered in cold blood by suspected ritualists, will be laid to rest on Friday.
Findings by schoolworld, reveals that Elozino was murdered by suspected ritualists, known as ‘Yahoo plus’, on the 15th of November, 2018, four days after she was declared missing. Her vital organs were removed in the process.
The 22-year-old was a First Class student of the Department of Mass Communication of DELSU when she met her untimely death.
According to the burial programme which was obtained by journalists on Wednesday, the remains of Elozino Ogege will be buried at her home town of Oleh in the Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
“After much consultation with the family and clan head; authorisation from the High Court, Asaba; and support from the Delta State Government, the Ogege family of Oleh, Isoko South LGA, has decided to lay their slain golden daughter, Elozino Ogege, to rest.
“She is survived by her mother, brother and sisters,” the programme stated.
The programme also urged students of the institution and the general public to attend the burial in while attire.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State had recently presented a cheque of N6 million to cover the deceased burial expenses.
