Three UNN Undergraduate Students Killed In Cult War


The Killing of three undergraduate students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) in a cult war has left tension in Nsukka, Enugu State by cultists.

According to reports made available to schoolworld, the ongoing cult war between the Eiye Air Lords and Black Axe cult groups started about three weeks back which has left about ten suspected cult members injured.

A source made it known that the areas mostly affected were Hiltop, Odenigwe and Odim, saying that the residents usually deserted the street anything from 7pm. Also, the school authority had taken precautionary measures by restricting the movement of students at night.

One of those reported killed on Wednesday was said to be a student of Agric-Economics department, whose identity could not be confirmed as of the time of report.

A 300 level student of the department, identified as Uche Agba, was said to be seriously injured and was receiving treatment in the hospital.

Some students of the institution, who spoke to newsmen on Thursday, stated that other students and residents of Nsukka now lived in fear as the clashes between the two confraternities appeared to the endless.

However, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizu, couldn’t confirm the incident when contacted but pleaded to allow the police investigate the incident.
